Marijuana and alcohol effect on testosterone

I'm going to a new testosterone doctor and had a few questions:

  1. Does marijuana increase estrogen or cause gynecomastia?
  2. At 175MG of testosterone cypionate every 6 days intra muscularly and HCG sub q, do I need anastrazole?
  3. Does drinking a good amount of alcohol hinder the benefits of TRT?

Thanks for the help,

1. I do not know.
2. No one can answer that, some need it, some don't. Labs and symptoms are the only way to tell.
3. Probably for most. Best to minimize it for TRT and health concerns. Alcohol is tough on the body in excessive amounts.

Given the effects of marijuana on the HPG axis in males and the possibility that non cannabinoid components of marijuana smoke have affinity to the estrogen receptor, an association with gynecomastia is plausible but has not been convincingly demonstrated.

Does marijuana increase estrogen or cause gynecomastia?
A: No.

A: Only a estadiol "sensitive" assay will tell you that/

Does drinking a good amount of alcohol hinder the benefits of TRT?
A: No...but it's still not healthy unless in moderation.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
