I found this site so informative, as my urologist and I keep trying to restore my libido/erectile function, that I had to become a part of the community.

Short story: 66, with severe bipolar illness and poor tolerance to psych meds; been through shots, compounded T cream and Testopel. With pellets, my TT was 1098 and free T 742! Didn't notice a thing. E2 was 57, DHT was 38 and I was using anastrozole. As my T levels began dropping, I told him I'd prefer to be back on shots. He was fine with that. After 10 months(4 months pellets/6 months shots) I started getting nocturnal erections. One night, I had five! Then I ran out of test enanthate and had to find a doctor in Central Florida to prescribe T. Took me 6 weeks to find someone and he didn't know much, though he claimed he practiced anti-aging medicine(100 mg every two weeks). I kept my mouth shut and took the script. Unfortunately, can't tolerate cottonseed oil and in a few weeks, had to stop. About 6 more weeks before I returned to Maryland. Been back on enantahte(30mg/sub q/ EOD) since 5/11. Waiting for lab results. Also take 300mg lithium, daily, 4 mg prazosin and .5mg Klonopin, both for sleep.

Understanding Your Hormones

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
