I'm 35yo, going on 36yo, no steroids. I took Clomid 25mg for 10 months for low-t, and have been off Clomid for 3 weeks. These test results were taken 2 weeks after stopping Clomid, so I wasn't on Clomid during the time my blood was taken.

Question! What do you do for high Estradiol, Sensitive? Is it something I should worry about? What are my options for getting it to normal range?

I believe, because clomid has such a long half life, 3 weeks isn't enough time for your estradiol to come down. Yes, it's a little high but it is not going to get any higher at this point. I'm sure it was even higher when you were on clomid. Time will bring it back down.
How do you feel?

I would do NOTHING at this point.

You didn't say a thing about how you feel - chasing a number is a ticket to frustration. While you aren't in range, your total testosterone is high and quite possibly able to support a somewhat higher e2 reading.

Are you on a protocol of any sort at the moment?

Thanks for all the helpful information. That's good to know. Should I be concerned about levels dropping too low after stopping Clomid, or will I be able to maintain normal levels at some point?

I feel good. Struggling a little with motivation in the gym, but that's nothing new. Daily struggles... In general, I feel good, libido is alright, but could be better. I'm not taking anything right now, only multi-vitamin, fish oil, Vit D, Vit C, Zinc, and that's about it.

Totes agree with CoastWatcher above. What are you doing with your Thyroid; TSH = 3.470

Thanks! I'll just let things be for now.

Should I be overly concerned about it? I don't know anything about Thyroid levels, and how to normalize/fix. Open to suggestions! Thanks again! Y'all are great!

Thyroid is not called the "master gland" for nothing. You should run ft3, ft4, rt3, and both antibody panels.

again my friend CoastWatcher catches everything. TSH is just a real small snapshot but could indicate your Thyroid is working too hard as the body is sensing T3 and T4 are low. A rather fair TSH outta be under 2.0 at least.

Thanks for all the helpful info. I went to see my urologist today, and he ordered a retesting of a few things. He has listed:

- Estradiol
- Sex Hormone Binding Globulin
- Testosterone, bioavailable (M)
- Testosterone

I felt like he didn't really know much about this stuff, which is weird. He wanted to put me on Arimidex, but I told him I wanted to take y'alls advice and let my levels settle. Then he gave me some craziness about renal failure, because my Creatinine, BUN, and Glucose levels were high. However, I did some research and it appears that most bodybuilders have high levels because they eat a high protein diet, exercise, and take creatine supps - all of which I do. This doctor looked like he had never stepped foot in a gym, so I dunno. Also, I just realized that my glucose might have been higher than normal, because Monday is my "refeed day", and I ate a shit ton of carbs, then had my blood drawn Tuesday morning. I'm 35yo, so the renal failure thing was weird, especially with no family history.

Glucose, Serum 104 mg/dL
BUN 25 mg/dL
Creatinine, Serum 1.12 mg/dL
eGFR If NonAfricn Am 85 mL/min/1.73

He also made an appointment with an endocrinologist, and wanted him to order the thyroid tests, because he didn't know anything about that. I go see the endocrinologist next Tuesday.

Just make sure that they give you the (ultra) Sensitive E LC/MS/MS test, "Estradiol" as you wrote is most certainly the wrong test.

Otherwise I concur with your Kidney observations for weight training/protein/muscle mass, and will add that some liver values such as AST and ALT can also appear elevated because of our lifestyle. What I do is gym M-Th, and then "off" and I have bloods on Mon and make sure that I'm water fasted for 10hrs and typically I will be under the lab ranges for Creatinine. You can try that testing strategy if you like.

For Thyroid ask for the whole panel:
TSH
T3
T4
Free T3
Reverse T3
Antibodies

Is your urologist going to continue to manage your TRT protocol? Is he handing the entire issue off to the endocrinologist? I hope not...

I don't have a TRT protocol. I had a doctor prescribe me Clomid, initially, but it was $55 for 30 pills via insurance, so went the web route. I'll probably stop using it. Unless y'all think I should continue to use it? Trying to research, learn, and educate myself since I can't seem to find a competent doctor. Same thing with my blood work, had to order myself, even though I have UHC ChoicePlus. I saw three doctors, and none would order the tests, so went through discountedlabs.com, and they did a great job.

Vince, I'll call and make sure it's the right Estradiol test, too. I'll tell them I want "Estradiol, Ultrasensitive, LC/MS/MS", if they refuse to change the order, guess I'll have to order myself, again. :/

Yes, he handed me off to the endocrinologist. Who I'll assume, doesn't really know anything about this... It's sad how shitty our healthcare system is... My wife gets sound advice from her OBGYN, and I can't seem to find anyone, except on this forum. Really appreciative of the info y'all are giving me...

You aren't the first, and you'll (sadly) not be the last to encounter frustration as you seek capable medical care. That's the reason so many members turn to Defy or Prime Body, it may cost a bit, but it may not be as much as you fear. I've no vested interest here, I don't even live in the United States, but I respect the care so many of our members receive from the national specialty practice. All the best.
