Been there too. It works, first time my dick was so hard it almost felt too hard, almost like it hurt a little but it was rock hard for over an hour and a half until I came then it went down as you'd hope (unless you want to go forever...lol). Got to make sure you get the injection site dead on. It's really best if you're already half hard so it's already somewhat engorged. Bear in mind your head (the big one lol) still has to be into it, at least for me. If I was only half interested, results were not the same. I haven't used it in a long time now. Getting my TRT right plus Cialis gets me where I need to be now 99% of the time.

But it was fun to have a 16 years olds dick at 60...lol

If you're going to do the injection route, bear in mind, as you get close to your dick with a sharp object your brain will be screaming "what the fuck are you doing"...lol... Unless you're into that sort of thing...

I do think about that, LOL! My wife thinks I'm crazy because I'm not squeamish about needles. I was when I was younger. The doctor I was going to helped me get over my fear of needles, basically telling me it was nothing. He did blood draws. So, now 50 years on, if injecting into my penile shaft is what I have to do, fine. Timing it for when my wife is in the mood is more problematic. She likes spontaneous. Haven't been there in 18 years. Can't tolerate erectile drugs. Make me too sick.

Your post cracked me up. Love the sense of humor! It reminded me of a buddy of mine who got a Prince Albert ring. When he showed it to me I kind of shocked. Just the thought of having my dick pierced made me shiver. He said it really wasn't all that painful, but he's a braver man than me!

I'm almost 43 and my morning erections have mostly disappeared starting when I was 41.

I am healthy and fit. Sexual function is 70% of what is was 3 years ago, but it is still fine. I'm not on TRT. My labs all come back good, 600-800 Total T, good thryoid, etc. The only exceptions are high but within range SHBG and low but within range Free T.

Two questions:

1) Has anyone who lost morning erections like this gotten them back for an extended period of time using some type of hormone therapy (Clomid, Natesto, TRT)? I wonder if raising my Free T levels would bring them back?

2) Do you believe attempting to restore morning erections is a useful endeavor as we age? Like if I keep them happening then I am maintaining myself in good shape and not letting myself degrade.

Thanks!
I had an erection problem due to severe stress at work, which led to the development of prostatitis. I was prescribed Longidaza as a treatment. Plus, I have physical exercise and began to consistently have sex with his wife. The process returned to normal, as if that terrible period had never happened.

That's interesting you had prostatitis. I have been wondering if that might be my issue as well.

Last year, my urologist did the finger check on my prostate and said it felt normal. My urinalysis came back good, so no UTIs. However, even though my PSA (1.7-1.8) is within range (< 2.5), it is higher than the median PSA which is about 0.7 for someone in their 40s and 0.9 for someone in their 50s. I am 43. While high PSA is a sign of prostatitis, I'm not sure if a higher range PSA is?

I am going to see about getting an ultrasound done of my prostate and surrounding area and any other tests that might help.

If you have Moderate to Severe ED, Shockwave therapy probably will NOT Work. For me it was a total waste of $5,000.
I have tried 12 sessions 3 different times, the first was with Gains Wave, the other 2 was with a $45,000 machine that have been used in clinical trials.
Link Showing the machine.

You can also get an ultrasound of your prostate which will show it's true size. I'm not sure how much it will help with diagnosis. I had mine checked and it was normal size. My PSA is also 1.7 by the way (1.59 pre-TRT).

I think getting tested would be the right decision. Especially at 40, life is just beginning! ha ha
Hope you get well soon, dude!

That's interesting you have a similar PSA also. I agree the prostate ultrasound likely will not be useful, I am curious about it just to rule things out and to get baseline measurements for when I am older.

Do you mind me asking what your SHBG level is?
