Is it impossible to get 10ml vials anymore?

CVS was giving me the 10ml vial even when the Rx didn't specify it. Then they just stopped. I preferred using one vial but I never questioned them, because for stockpiling purposes mini vials make much more sense.

My prescription is 0.5 ml per week. So I am supposed to draw 1 injection and throw away the remainder of the 1.0 ml vial. I have noticed that the full prescription period assumes I use the entire vial so 5 vials are supposed to last 10 weeks instead of only 5. I believe their computer program just divides the total 5 ml (5 x 1 ml) by 0.5/week and comes up with 10 weeks.

Assuming your vial is 200mg/ml, then your .5 ml per week is 100 mg which is a "typical" TRT protocol. Your 1 ml vial would be for 2 weeks then...i.e. 2 injections from 1 vial.

If you're discarding any vial with more than a few drops left...something is wrong with the protocol and/or calculation for the proper needle draw.

@Doug, I can assure that that advice the CDC give to only use a vial 1 time is stupid. ALL testosterone no matter what ester is made with Benzyl alcohol which is used as a bacteriostatic preservative. You will be fine.

I’m starting to realize that the reason these pharmacies won’t order the 10 ml vials anymore is because they make double the money off of the 1 ml vial. For instance my doctor wrote me a script for 1 10 ml vial of Depo Teatosterone. The price for that vial is around $125 to $150. Now for 10 1 ml vials the price is $250 to $300. This is the reason for them not ordering the 10 ml vials anymore plus the whole 28 days use once the vial stopper has been punctured bs. It’s all a money thing. That’s what it’s always been.

How about we trade? No that doesn't concern me in the least. I use to have 30ml vials of TU, took me about 2 years to use it all. Never had a problem.

Hey, how are your bloods going daily injections? Never done it before and will test Friday.
Are you still on 8mg daily? How’s that going?
