Do 10ML vials actually expire?

Hi guys,

I've been picking up my standard test cyp prescription in 1ml vials for years. A couple months ago I went to the pharmacy and was told that they don't have 1ml vials anymore so they gave me a 10ml vial. Normally, this would last months but they said it actually expires after 27 days so I need to go in every month for a new 10ml vial... They are also not allowed to dispense more than a month's worth at a time. I am very confused. I will now have to message my doctor and explain why I'll be going through 30ML in 3 months...

My question is, does a 10ml vial actually expire or become less potent if used over multiple months?

This is bullshit, for decades people have been using 10 mL vials injecting 200 mg every two weeks until the vial is empty which takes more than 3-4 months to empty a vial of its contents. In 2018 through 2022 I was prescribed 10 ML vials that lasted me three months and none of my doctors said anything about a 27 day expiration date.

Then one day out of the blue this expiration date became an issue. It's more about big brother's control over medicine. Now you only get a 30 day supply of medicine where before I got 90 days worth of medicine.

The FDA creates these laws for power and control. The FDA rarely makes laws to protect the public and more to do with its own interests (protect Big pharma/processed food companies). Testosterone became a controlled substance not because it is dangerous, safer than any drug on the market, but making it a controlled substance was to stop athletes from cheating in the Olympics and competition events.

If the FDA really cared about public safely, they would ban ultra-processed foods, sugary drinks/foods and alcohol. If they did, this would be the death of big processed food companies and big pharma would lose billions in drugs profits as a result of people not eating foods that causes chronic diseases.

There are no studies looking at the safety of 10 ML vials beyond 27 days and that’s where the 27 days expiration date comes from. The expiration dates come from pure ignorance and not knowing.

Nope. I still have vials from 2021 and there still good and if I needed to I wouldn't hesitate to use them even now.

On your question there are a bunch of threads on this. With proper aseptic technique you draw out of your MDV for many months (I've used one for 9 or 10 months intermittently. Again, a hearty congrats!

I've used vials of Test that had been opened ~2 years prior and left to sit in a dark and dry place (medicine cabinet).

Lab results for Free T were what they were supposed to be at those dosages, subjectively felt no different from "fresher" Test.

Single dose vials vs multi dose ? Why.

So I don’t know if this is a dumb question or not . But I’m using the 200mg testosterone cypionate “single dose “ vials but I don’t use it all . In fact not even half . Why can’t I keep using it instead of throwing it away? What makes the multi dose vial different . Practically looks the same
