Iron issues

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing well today. Looks like I may have found the source of my fatigue, after reviewing my recent iron labs I noticed things look off.

My iron saturation is testing at only 17% while my ferritin is 151. All rbc parameters test as robust if not slightly elevated. Crp tests at only .33 as well.

I understand that in the presence of inflammation ferritin will elevate and become unreliable as a iron metric so my question is why would my saturation be so low despite such low levels of inflammation with seemingly robust iron stores?

I've seen this lightly touched on here in the context of strictly inflammation but that doesn't seem to apply to my situation.

Thanks in advance everyone!
PS- I am symptomatic (fatigue, weakness, low mood, etc)

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
