Instant chat feature?

Is there a feature to chat with a member that is online at the same time? Just curious. Like the site very much and if that is a feature that can be added it would be great. I see when a member is online (green indicator) but not sure if we can chat.. Thanks

The chat feature would be the demise of this site since chats content do not count as page views and cannot be archived. It would not help to make this site "discoverable" on the first or second google search pages of any of our keywords.
