Injection sites

Hello all,

I have been at this TRT thing for about 2 yrs now. My protocol is to inject 100 mg of testosterone cypionate twice per week. That is a little over 100 injections per year!

I have been using my quads, delts and glutes. I have enough scare tissue on my glutes where it is becoming painful to push the needle in. My delts and quads appear to be ok but I was thinking if I plan to be at this for years (or life) I need to work in more sites. I use very small needles too, 25 gage.

What are some sites that you guys use? Any resources to show how to inject in them?

Thanks

I use a 27 gauge 1/2 inch syringe and inject on shoulders, quads, chest (yes, chest!), and glutes. I have been injecting weekly or twice a week since 1993 and so far I have no scar tissue that I can tell. However, for the first 10 years I only injected on my upper glutes close to hip area and I have to say that muscle has grown a lot more than the rest of the gluteus. During that time I would use a 23 gauge 1 inch syringe.

Thanks Nelson. Do you no of a website that shows you where to inject on the chest?

No, I do not. I have never seen a video for that site. I know it is unorthodox to inject on the chest but I lost my fear of that years ago when I had to inject a medication twice a day for 3 years and was running out of injection sites due to site reactions. The needle size is so small. I guess you have to take into account the amount of mass you have on your chest, though.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
