hey Im just responding to this because, I;ve always suffered from prolonged orgasam and always had trouble even as a teen. not this bad but still. heres the problem and im stuck because I need a lot of what im on...MY MEDICATION. I know its the soul reason for this problem.

Ive been on TRT 100mg q 7th day cyp. IM . and before that androgel....but now IM currently in my 2nd month of TRT injections , Im not seeing a specialist, all im getting is the T from my Primary Care Physician. He knows nothing or said anything about HCG and all these other meds that guys are taking along with the TRT. so right now ive taken 600mg of test cyp. over the past 4 weeks .....

I was super horny the first week or 2 but then it all went down hill. But back to my reason this is my daily Medicine List.

Paxil 30mg 1 qd

clonidine .1mg 2x day

klonopin 2mg 3x day

propranolol 40mg 1 qd prn

Pravastatin 40mg 1 at nite

and the biggest problem is I am in recovery from Heroin addiction with almost 7 years sober ,but I am on METHADONE and i take it everyday for my opoiod replacement thearpy .

so on top of that im the most stressed out nervous guy ever and have ADD and cant stay focucsed even on an "adult flick" i fall asleep. HELP. I'm too young to be withering away like this, but I cannot just stop my medication as I am a very sensitive depressive person with generalized anxitety disorder and tourette syndrome "which is controlled" theres no crazy yelling thats fake no1 does that. unless its realllllly bad. anyway so thats what im working with

im hoping working out will help i just started. im bringing a lot of this info to my dr. and asking for a referal to a specialist because i think im lacking a lot more shit then just testosterone . if you have have suggestions to help someone whos bound to these statins and antidepressants .

Can you clarify what you mean by "prolonged orgasm"? Might you mean "delayed orgasm"? Please provide more details about your TRT protocol - how much testosterone, administered how often? Do you have test results you can post? Finally, with all the medications you are taking, and your medical history, have your doctors ever referenced sexual issues and how they might present?

im sorry delayed orgasm. or just no orgasm and ...im administered 100mg injected every 7th day . so 400mg a month.
i have test results im going to the dr. today ill get them. and finally i guess they vaguely talked about it but were more concerned with treating my issues at hand at the time, then time went on and i guess i should have taken care of this a while ago , but for some reason its just gotten really bad since i hit 30. ill be 32 in may.... but yea in an hour ill be at the doc . im bringing some info from here to show him. and asking for a specialist because he is clueless.

Tuesday Im going for blood work but i took all the INFO u guys wrote about like prolactin levels ect....t1 t3 t4 esdradol levels and the doc never tested for all that , so im getting like 10 tubes of blood and there checking everything thyroid also . so when those results come back i will post them. on the bright side. i found a loop hole to get the active ingredent in viagra... i found older pill called Rovatio 20mg its for another use and insuranace wont cover it as un offlable use of ED. so My dr. wrote it out for what it was made for . HBP and something to do with the lungs...anyway insurance picked it up and i got 90 tabs covered under medicaid ........
so anyone needing VIAGRA look up rovatio the doc wud have to write po tid for

im going to labcorp in 3 hours, then I guess I wait , what 10 days for all this about? Im so nervous, I know there's a shit ton of levels all over the place from the meds. And I have the ED meds now so preformance anxiety shud go down I hope. Its really bothering me, so if there is any other meds I could be taking to help keep my penis erect even during a quick masterbation try i cant stay up most times... and I dont want to waste viagra and these rovatio pills on j/o , dudee a 31 yo gay guy like myself is ready for it 24 hours a day all around me and i loose out on all these chances because my nerves about preforming . and i take anxiety medication , i wasnt always like this.. smh..... well ill post when those results come in. me to lol. gunna be another 5 days or so. they took like 7 tubes of blood. I went bolistic in the docs office becuase he knew NONE of these words or medical terms. no clue what a troph day is. wasnt even going to look at my estradol so went in with a list of all the info i gathered here and basicly schooled my doctor on trt. and demanded a test for each thing plus more.I said and i quote "when i leave u better be researching every blood test I need ,and I think i may have turned purple and smoke may have been shooting out of my ears , so he listened. its just a shame the things we have to do for or docs to properly treat us.

to top this all off i went to fill my rovatio 20mg tabs ....and my pharmacy of 10 years + shorted me 10 pills and i paid 3 bucks a pill. l litterly was shaking and almost cried cuz my stress was so high . my pharmacy has had my back and helped me and litterly watched me get clean and sober and the ONE TIME they make a mistake and i meekly ask the head pharm. which i am very close with , what happened to the 10 pills this is so weird.. she had no answer except my count is right, and ill check with the other pharmicist who filled it who i also know well. and she did this while backing away from me like "im done taking and when i reach my desk convos over" im not ashamed to say i stood outside bawling little child becuase I just got ****ed over by the pharmacy ive trusted with so many meds for over a decade is looking at me like i am lieing about ****ing generic **** pills, that r really used for blood presure . REALLY???? so naturally the fight or flight kicks in and i want to blow the building up . really nice catch 22 she put me in. and its my word against hers. im grown now , i dont **** around and all that experience did to me was flash me back to when I was actively using and no1 believed me. "rightfully so" at that time. but its been 7 years now of SOBER SOBER SOBER, so it was like the past slapping me in the face the way it was handled. like i even called the second i opened the bottle and reported the 10 pills werent there . so a girl said they ran out and wud have them tomorrow. now they deny they said that. so i had to swallow my pride and EAT IT once again and just drop it, cuz i need this pharmacy more then they need me. im just really hurt that she doesnt believe me after all this time, i guess the stigma of my past really will never go away . i ****in bake that bitch pies every holiday year like uhhhhh i really am like looping this in my brain and i have to stop its effecting my sleep . this probly sounds crazy to get so upset but i have such bad anxiety and panic disorder this cud **** with me for weeks. until i talk it all out over and over with my thearpist. ok sorry for rambling and all the grammar errors . i just had to vent that.

You should be discussing your problems with your doctor and asking them to optimize / change your medications, all most likely they are the cause of your problems. If you can't find satisfaction through that, find another doctor.

Also, meditation. Even five minutes a day will help.

I'm sorry you had to deal with all of this - the issues with your doctor and your encounter at the pharmacy. I hope you can step back once a bit of time has passed and realized how far you have come and how you continue to to grow in strength. You are sober, for an extended period of time, you are stepping in and taking more control to manage your hormone issues.

In other words, things are not black and white. Steps ahead, and steps backward. Don't lose sight of the larger picture. Peace to you.

thanks man. i really need support like this, because I feel so helpless. When ur not well and at the mercy of the medical field and having to play dr. all the time to get what I need really amps my stress in general. i just pray, and do good to others hoping I get some good karma my way .

I do, I have a therapist , a social worker, a physc and my primary. Ive struggled for years finding the correct "****tail" to control my anxiety , panic disorder and depression and ocd. i cant just stop these meds. Its easier said then done. I can maybe lower some , and i do meditate every night. tho its hard due to the racing thoughts that go threw my head even when im sleeping. so im kind of a complex person. I just told yall the story for some extra venting.
when the blood work comes back im getting a referal to a specialist .

For sure it is the Paxil almost all SSRI have side effects like loss of libido and delayed ejucalation or absent. Klonopin is bensos whoch also effect ones sex life. I think your combo is the cause to your problem. Explain your problems to your doc maybe some medication can be taken away or less dosage. Reg SSRI which is really bad for these kind of problems you ask to change to another like Lexapro and add Wellbutin to counteract the side effects of the SSRI. Talk to you doc about your problems because there exist alternatives. Good luck!

I'm glad things are looking brighter for you. As far as endo/urologist, we have all found that board certifications mean nothing. Many of the beat TRT specialists are qualified in family practice. Find someone with knowledge and experience, that's the key. Personally, I have a bias against endocrinologists...and many share it.

Some of the dumbest things I have read have come from board certified endos, urologists I have more experience with in person and take the prize for dumbest things I've heard myself. Internists and primary care physicians are at least upfront and honest about their feelings on TRT.

I have the opinion that it's not the specialty of the doctor that matters as much as the individual doctor. There are great endos with TRT and terrible endos with TRT.

I believe Dr. rotman from prime body is in NYC. Defy is always an option if you're fine with telemedicine. Plus you're in one of the largest cities in the country, there has to be a doctor who will help you!
