Hypothyroid (My labs results)

Hello, I'm a 25 year old type 1 diabetic and recently got my thyroid checked

https://imgur.com/a/VOU1eSp

TSH : 4.28
FREE T4 : 17 pmol/l
FREE T3 : 5.1 pmol/l
REVERSE T3 : 32 ng/dl

My shbg is usually very high (90-105) and free test is usually on the lower end of the lab ranges. Would this have a negative effect on my thyroid function? I'm not yet on TRT but hope to start soon. I'm aware I need the antibodies test's and hoping the doctor will follow up with them.

Would adding t3 be an appropriate route for treating my thyroid?

Thanks so much

Wow that's a high Reverse T3, it's a shame considering great Free T3 and Free T4 levels. SHBG is expect to increase once you start thyroid medications, so you may need TRT as well with SHBG that high and expected to increase. You will need T3 medicine to bring down Reverse T3.

Hematocrit and hemoglobin are barely over the ranges, probably do to the pituitary gland kicking it into high gear to get free T up.

Here's a thread you started the other day with some of the same topics of discussion you have in this new thread.
