I'm a 66 year old male that was having depression outbreaks quite frequently. Also, ED problems and was not able to have sex with my wife for the last 3 years, just could not get auseable erection. About 5 months ago found a sports medicine doctor who checked my T and it was in the "normal" range but probably for an 80 year old guy. He put me on the Testosterone cream and things changed in a big way. My level now varies from 550-700. He also put me on Anastrozole to counter the possible Estrogen conversion. I feel like I've cut 10 years off my current age. I am still not able to get an erection to have sex but I'm learning everyday on how to make that happen. Nelson, I read your book about 3 months ago and I can't tell you what it has done for me. You are truly a dedicated warrior for men. Thank you so mch for this forum.

Welcome to ExcelMale John1

TRT is a beautiful thing is it not:)

Make sure you are testing your Estrogen levels with the "Sensitive" lab. Most men on a transdermal don't need an AI to control estrogen due primarily to the fact that they apply smaller doses on a daily basis so Testosterone serum levels remain stable versus a weekly injection.

If your estrogen levels drop to low it will cause low libido and ED...it's usually one of the first symptoms.

Get your E2 tested soon.

For your erection challenge, read this on Trimix: https://www.excelmale.com/forum/threads/402-Penis-Injections-for-Hard-Erections-TRIMIX

I don't have ED issues per se but I use it occasionally and got to tell you there is nothing, and I mean nothing, like it.

Give is a try, it has helped save many marriages and restored manhood in men!

Thanks BigJohn for the kind words. I wrote that book after realizing that most men did not have the proper information about TRT. I decided to share what I learned through my struggles so that others did not have to go through so much trial-and-error.

Besides Trimix, Gene loves his stack: https://www.excelmale.com/forum/threads/198-Gene-s-Nitric-Oxide-Stack?highlight=gene+stack

I am not sure I share conviction for horny goat weed, but everything else makes a lot of sense. Gene is definitely an experimenter and men's health advocate!

I have been thinking about trimix. My libido has definitely come back since I have been on TRT, but my erections are nothing to write home about. I take Cialis but doesn't seem to work as well as it used to. And I figure if Cialis doesn't work all that great, neither will other drugs like Viagra. My erections just aren't what they used to be and sometimes the erection fades fast. Nelson or Gene does Trimix last only for an hour and then you suddenly go limp? I don't really know what else to do. And let me tell you it sounds a little unnerving to give myself an injection in the penis. Maybe the TRT will help more in time....I have been on Cyp 200/wk for 5 weeks now.

Trimix erections can last 1-2 hours if dosed properly. You do not want anything that last longer than 3 hours due to risks of blood coagulating in your penis that has to be removed in an emergency room by puncture.

These are some rules that may prevent erections lasting more than 2-3 hours:

1- Do not take Cialis or Viagra for at least one day before the injection.

2- Start with a low dose of 0.12 ml. Alcohol and recreational drugs may require a bit higher doses not exceeding 0.2

3- Use a 1/2 inch 29 or 30 gauge needle in an insulin syringe

4- Massage your penis well before and after the injection from the base to the head in a squeezing motion

5- Inject half way on either side and switch sides

6- Do not inject more than once a day. Sometimes it takes two days for penis to heal specially after a long sex session

7- Have your syringe preloaded in the bathroom so there is no awkwardness with sex partner waiting for you. Do not worry about refrigerating that loaded syringe if you know you will be using it in the next 2 hours. Privacy is important for most men and running to the fridge can make things seem a little weird. If you are traveling to your sex partner, use one of these cool holders

8- Always have a supply of Sudafed (you can get it without a script but you have to ask for it since it is now behind the counter since it is used by meth dealers). This drug can bring your erection down if it lasts over two hours and you are done with sex. However, Sudafed will disrupt your sleep, so make sure you have a sleep aid if using TRIMIX at night.

9- Some men use "poppers" (nitrates) which can also knock an erection easily. But be careful if you are taking nitrates for heart problems since low blood pressure can be a problem. I have never heard or anyone having this issue, though

10- If the erection does not go down, go to an ER and tell them you used Trimix. I have only known two guys who had this problem since they did not follow common sense tips (many docs do not tell you this stuff!)

I may have forgotten some more. I am sure others can add.

More on Trimix

One day I will have someone make a video :)

Kevin -You need to try the compound Trimix!

It's a game changer and forget the thought of injecting yourself with an insulin pin because it hurts...you will never feel it.

BUT!

The erection you will get will marvel that of a porn star.

Personally, I think Trimix is God's gift to men!

Gene are most doctors familiar with Trimix? Also, the auto pen injector, is the best way?

Most Doc's know about Trimix but you're better off finding a Doc in your area that specializes it it. If you are on a TRT protocol the Doc prescribing it for you probably does as well. It's been around for years so it's no secret or difficult to get.

Sometimes you can see Doc's advertising in your daily newspaper sports section or on sports talk radio as well.

I like the pen injector as it makes the injection easier and you don't see the syringe or needle.

This is the one I use: http://www.syringesandneedles.com/product-p/aj1310.htm

I pre load a syringe and place it in the pen and put in a secure place the the fridge.

When it's time for sex it take less then 30 seconds and I am good to go...for 2 hours!!!

Trimix is almost a 100% guarantee to work when prescribed and dosed correctly...like I said, it's a game changer and more men should know about it.

Thanks Gene I'll ask my Doctor. Also, Gene I posted a thread asking questions about anti-aging vs. trt. You seem to be high on the Anti-Aging group. I'm 66 and I want to add yeasr to my life but some of these guys are very expensive and don't take insurance. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks

Here are my thoughts on it John.

My protocol costs me somewhere in the are of about $250/month.

To some that may seem expensive to others it is not.

Most of my friends eat out at least twice a week either by themselves or with family.

Many of my friends go out to a bar at least once a week.

Add up the tabs for those few times out and it's usually way more than $250/month.

I tell my friends, just don't go out to eat one time a week because on average your spending close to what my TRT protocol costs.

In other words, for the huge health benefits that TRT can provide for men relative to a small sacrifice in personal or recreational expense it's worth it me 10 times over.

My health and desire to not age like my Dad or Grandfather is priceless to me and I would find any means possible to pay for it no matter what if I had to.

Beyond Testosterone Book by Nelson Vergel
Most insurance companies pay for testosterone gels or injections. Many insurance companies also pay for basic labs every few months. Supplements are not covered and HCG and anastrozole are not covered by insurance since they are used in an off label manner. If you have a doctor through your insurance who is open minded, then you have won the lottery. He/she can prescribe HCG or anastrozole and you can get them cheaply from compounding pharmacies.

Cheaper labs can also be obtained without a prescription. We are exploring options now.
