this caught my eye...............never had an issue before, but within the past yr, yeah big time. i fact right now, I hear an ocean waves beaking on the sand.................in an hour nothin..

I already had tinnitus prior to starting to HRT. My right ear was damaged due to my prior lifestyle, then my left ear started ringing after taking Levaquin.

I already had tinnitus prior to starting TRT. On some days I think the TRT has helped others not so much.
I don't think it made it worse.
I have tried quite a few supplements that are suppose to help they did not.

The only thing that has helped me get my mind off of tinnitus is white noise. This is my favorite. I will have it playing in the background when I surf the web.

There are a fair number of threads/posts on tinnitus here at EM. The consensus seems to be that TRT doesn't worsen the problem, unless it does...or it improves it...in other words, anecdotal responses (including my own, no difference in my case) are all over the place.

Are you donating blood regularly? Low ferritin can cause tinnitus. I got tinnitus after tanking my ferritin after multiple donations to keep HCT down. Once ferritin goes back to a certain level tinnitus is gone for me

I don't know if it's considered tinnitus but I can hear my pulse in my ear when I have the side of my face on the pillow. I actually think it's due to the vein running from my temple towards my ear lobe. It got MUCH stronger since starting TRT and can actually feel it pulse hard when I put my finger on it.

Check your blood pressure. It might be the cause

Have you checked your BP when your tinnitus is bad and when it is ok? Maybe you might find a pattern there.
That I have not. I was checking it often when I was getting flushed and getting anxiety and realized it was high because of hcg. Since stopping it 3 weeks ago, I check it periodically but never with tinnitus present. I always attributed it to my mind racing at night. That issue I had forever and gives me major problems falling/staying asleep. I get worked up for no reason and causes an increase in HR therefore making my pulse stronger and I notice it when laying down on a pillow.

I developed pulsating tinnitus about 7 years ago - sounds like someone walking through snow and drove me crazy at times - while it sometimes comes back every now and then it has greatly reduced to point I go days/weeks without it since starting TRT.

I guess I will toss my opinion into the ring here.

I have had tinnitus for many years. Since starting TRT I feel like it's worse. But, I am wondering if its not because of the other stuff I have been taking i.e. PDE5 inhibitors. Could be wrong, might not be either. Maybe its just because I am a year and half older?

Also be sure that your taking in enough Magnesium . TRT tends to use up the body’s source of magnesium at quicker rates than normal , and a lack of magnesium can cause tinnitus.

I had that full ear feeling and loud pluse sound in my ear at night on higher dose of trt. I think it was high e2 for me. My last run with trt I had it but very very vague.
