How to start everyday injection

I agree. I will give a new protocol at least 12 weeks. It takes me that long to really feel the difference.
Of course, Ive been on TRT for quite some time now, and know how long things can take to even out. I just always go through a period of a few weeks to a month when changing doses where I feel like I am not on TRT at all, just like I felt prior to starting treatment. I was simply curious if daily injections maybe would shorten that period. Then again as Im writing this I am reminding myself we are all different, and that my experience could be completely different that Coasts, VCs, or yours. I'll be patient and update at some point in the future.

When I first started dailies, it felt like I never missed a beat. It was a very smooth transition for me. Before that I was injecting every three and a half days, for both my testosterone and HCG.

From a lot of your posts it seems like you’ve responded extremely well to TRT in general.

It took a solid month for me to see consistent stability and feel the benefits of daily injections.
Yea that’s usually what it takes for me to feel “on trt” again. We shall see this time around. I did notice yesterday and today that it’s such a small amount the injection is a lot faster and easier. Gonna grab some 29 gauge .3cc insulin syringes instead of the 27 gauge .5cc ones I have.

You're right about the amount of time needed to inject on a daily basis. The smaller volume cuts the time dramatically.

So a little update. I know these labs are early, but I chose to start dailies on my own, as I normally do with most things, and if it works out well I will talk to my provider about it. However, I had to change my appointment to an earlier date, and will be having to get bloodwork for said appointment. Knowing I could not have crazy lab values I decided to do a quick snapshot at the three week mark to see if I was way off in either direction. Here are
my labs:
total testosterone: 818 ( 264-916)
free testosterone: 26.6 ( 9-26.5)
sensitive e2: 25.6 (8-35)

At this point in time I feel shit, as I expected to during a change. As I have stated before every time I have changed dosage in the past I felt hypogonadal. I thought I got away with it this time the first week, and then it hit me. I am sleeping 10-11 hrs a night when I can(work later in the day), my mood is terrible, and my libido doesn't exist one bit. I do my best to remind myself its just the medicine changing and will get better. I know it could take up to 12 weeks for things to get right. However, I know the bloodwork is early, but I have literally never seen an e2 value under 39 without an AI! It has me hopeful that the daily protocol will eventually work out for me, as my total and free test numbers are solid and my e2 is picture perfect. Only time will tell whether I get the subjective benefits or not. Thanks for all the help guys.

I've read the various posts about the relation between injection frequency and SHBG. My question is - what do you guys think about doing daily injections regardless of SHBG levels? Mine happens to be 33 [19-76] and am currently doing 60mg T-cyp E3.5D (still trying to get dialed-in). I am starting to think I would prefer to do daily injections simply because of the smaller volume. I recently had trouble with sub-q (started to get some sort of itchy reaction) and switched to IM based on the recommendations of this forum and it was a great move.

My doctor has patients injecting on a daily basis for all sorts of reasons. SHBG, e2 control...try it and see how it works for you.

Im on 16mg daily right now, subjective benefits aren't there of course, but that takes time. With my lab results why would inject less then 12mg?

You're only at the 3 week mark, it takes 6 weeks for levels to build up in your system, in three more weeks your levels will be significantly higher. These are good numbers if you were at the 6 week mark.

A 10mg daily dosage was way too much for me, 7mg saw levels at 417 ng/dL only 3 weeks into it with 3 more weeks to go and probably would have ended up twice as high.

I never said to inject less than 12mg, I said you "may" end up needing less. I recommended 12mg as middle ground because I knew 16mg was too much.

Fair enough points for sure. I will retest at the 6 week mark and see where I am. I think right now I don’t want to change anything and will stay at the 16mg for consistency’s sake. Then I will adjust if necessary. To be honest taking even less appeals to me, but we shall see.

Hopefully ED injections end up working for ya. Just remember, if daily injections on testosterone cypionate end up not giving you the benefits that you’re looking for, I would try doing daily injections on testosterone propionate before getting too discouraged. Here’s a recent thread on test prop.

I went from E3.5 day injections to ED injections with SHBG that moves between 29 and 33. It helped stabilize my high HCT and Hb. It has worked very well for me. I’ve been doing it for 4 months and feel great.

Could you please share your dose on E3.5D and your current dose on ED that helped with HCT?

I was taking 180 mg per week or 90 mg E3.5 days. I started off with ED injections of 20 mg and titrations up to 26 mg per day. That is higher than some on here inject daily. Many of them are 16 mg per day or lower but 26 mg per day is working well for me.
