When to pin again?

So I've been pinning 200mg test cyp every two weeks as my doc prescribed. I've decided to start pinning 50mg twice weekly instead, just to level out more and hopefully improve my symptoms. I just don't know when to switch over and pin again. I just pinned this past Wednesday (October 7th). Should I just wait for my normal 2 weeks to pin again or should I pin sooner? My next scheduled pin is Wednesday October 21st, so should I wait to pin until Thursday the 22nd and then just continue pinning every Monday and Thursday? I will be using the Nelson shoulder technique, minus the hcg since I don't have a prescription for hcg. Thanks

If your new schedule is going to be Mon-Thurs, I would start the new protocol Thursday the 15th, no later than Monday the 19th. I would want to level things off before I bottomed out again.

Would pinning again that soon keep my levels a little more elevated since I won't be dropping off as much before injecting again? Have my level just a tad higher definitely wouldn't hurt my feelings lol

My thought process is just not letting it bottom out all the way before getting on a more consistent schedule. Things are going to level out either way, but why sink to the bottom before you start to swim again. Giving it over a week should be a good starting point. Others (much more knowledgeable than I) may disagree with me though.

Yeah, I don't really want to bottom out. Especially since the trt doesn't really seem to anything for me so far. I'm hoping that leveling out will make me feel better. Also in Nelson's video it didn't really show a good example of shot placement. It looks like he is injecting at a 90° angle but another video I watched on YouTube showed injecting at a 45° angle, any idea on what's best? I'm still pretty new at this so in kinda nervous about doing it wrong.

On a twice weekly schedule, you inject every 3.5 days. I would simply start your new protocol with your first 50mg injection this coming Monday, October 12, followed by the next 50mg injection on the Thursday the 15th. That is how I have made my protocol adjustments, and have found the transition reasonably seamless. Remember, it takes at least four, if not six, weeks of adhering to a new schedule/doseage before you can begin to evaluate your progress. Patience is the key.

I will most like have to wait until the 19th to start the new protocol. My insurance only covers 5x1ml vials at once for some reason, so if I start too soon I could end up shorting myself towards the end before I refill my prescription. The walmart where I fill my prescription usually seems to have some time line where they will not refill the prescription before a certain date. I don't want to end up a week out without any test at all. I know patience is key right now, the sex drive issue makes it really hard to be patient when I'm not making my wife happy. You seem to be pretty knowledgeable from what I have seen with posting on my other threads, would you have any input on my shot placement and angle question?

Disregard the question of shot angle, I rewatched the video and he does mention that he injects at 90 °. Sorry for the confusion

Testosterone is a controlled substance. When your original prescription is filled the pharmacy calculates when your next refill is due based in the prescribing information. Insurance isn't going to authorize payment on a refill until about 90percent of the medication has been used. That said, you aren't really increasing the total amount of testosterone injected over a two week period. Fifty twice a week is the same as 200 ever two weeks. But, having nearly run out of my own testosterone once, I know what the anxiety can feel like!

I know the amount would be the same overall, I would just be a week ahead on my dosing schedule if I pinned this monday. Considering I only got 1 vial the last time I refilled because they didn't have enough to fill my full prescription, I don't want to risk it lol

It seems we can't help you if you're captive to this paradigm for insurance and 1ml vials, etc etc

I can change the dosing with pretty much no problems, I just live in a small town so we don't really have the best services around. I'm currently looking for a new doctor that will hopefully turn this around for me. Someone that will prescribe hcg, etc. Also looking into defy

Another option is to use insulin needles for your injections. I use a 27G 1/2 inch syringe for my injections. Those 1 CC 200mg per cc vials of T actually have about 240mg in them. The insulin syringes have no waste spots in them like 2 piece syringes do so you can save some extra T every month...

Yeah, I'll be ordering some half inch 27g this week to do the shoulder injection method. I'm kinda worried 1/2 won't be long enough but it seems to work well so others so I guess we'll see. That's definitely good information, I'm sure all that test adds up.
