How long does HCG remain active after mixing it with water?

I got this answer from a compounding pharmacy owner friend of mine.

*************************

I have several potency over time results that were done by ARL Labs. Unfortunately, they are not stability indicating as that test requires a lot of money, which is why not many compounding pharmacies do full blown, stability studies. It starts out at $30,000 per test for most drugs.

That being said I've been told that HCG is fairly stable for up to 90 days according to the tests that they've done for other clients. Of course every compounded uses slightly different formulations and different compounding techniques, so I can't apply that 90 days to everyone's HCG.

Novarel touts a 60 day Beyond Use Date and Pregnyl touts a 30 day BUD from the start of reconstitution. To be safe we go with 60 days like Novarel does, which is usually more than enough time to go through a 5,000, 11,000 or 50,000 IU vial.

Thanks,

Pretty much what I've learned over the years as well Nelson.

Even after 60 days the degradation in potency is very slow so you'd still get subjective benefits up to 90 days without noticing anything physical.

For convenience and consistency when mixing HCG powder, create a solution = 2000iu/ml

11000iu mix with this much solvent-----> Add 5.5ml bacteriostatic water
10000iu mix with this much solvent-----> Add 5.0ml bacteriostatic water
8000iu mix with this much solvent------> Add 4.0ml bacteriostatic water
5000iu mix with this much solvent------> Add 2.5ml bacteriostatic water

10 units= 200iu
11 units= 220iu
12 units= 240iu
13 units= 260iu
14 units= 280iu
15 units= 300iu
16 units= 320iu
17 units= 340iu
18 units= 360iu
19 units= 380iu
20 units= 400iu
21 units= 420iu
22 units= 440iu
23 units= 460iu
24 units= 480iu
25 units= 500iu
26 units= 520iu
27 units= 540iu
28 units= 560iu
29 units= 580iu
30 units= 600iu

Sample calculation, which validates the above chart:
(8000iu/4ml) x (1ml/100 units) = 20iu/unit---Need 500iu=(500iu/1) x (1 unit/20iu)= 25 units (using an insulin syringe).

Dave if I am not mistaken the 11000iu would last the same amount of time no matter how you dilute the solution.

Obviously you take less per stick but since I stick daily is there any advantage to a smaller but more potent solution?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
