How is intratesticular estrogen measured, and how is it treated?

I'm reading too much conflicting info and hoping someone can clear this up for me.

How is intra e2 measured? And if the common aromatase inhibitors are ineffective, what's the solution?

From what I've learned over the years, intratesticular E2 can't really be measured as it's not in serum and an AI is largely ineffective in controlling it.

It can be a problem for some men especially when higher doses of HCG are used in protocol.

That's what is so mind boggling. I've read several studies about elevated intra E2, but none mention the method. There has to be a method if they can report results.

We need the right amount of intratesticular testosterone and estradiol to produce healthy sperm and keep Leydig cells working properly. I have no idea why anyone would want to treat estradiol inside the testicles.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
