From what I've learned over the years, intratesticular E2 can't really be measured as it's not in serum and an AI is largely ineffective in controlling it.
It can be a problem for some men especially when higher doses of HCG are used in protocol.
Yes, my previous post was ambiguous. It is measured in serum; but for whatever the pharmacological reasons an AI does a poor job at slowing intratesticular aromatase synthesis.
That's what is so mind boggling. I've read several studies about elevated intra E2, but none mention the method. There has to be a method if they can report results.
We need the right amount of intratesticular testosterone and estradiol to produce healthy sperm and keep Leydig cells working properly. I have no idea why anyone would want to treat estradiol inside the testicles.
