How do you make the switch from your primary care physician to an endocrinologist for TRT?

Are you trying to get your insurance to pay for this?
Go to your insurances website and find an endo that is in their network.
Don't expect too much from them either. In Denver where I live they are all too busy working with cancer patients to deal with T injections.
YMMV

The single biggest obstacle most of us have faced in regard to TRT is finding a doctor who is knowledgeable and willing to treat. Sadly, there is very little time devoted to androgen therapy in men during the course of medical school and residency. My own doctor said she didn't realize how little she knew until she found herself unable to answer questions that most of us here at EM can respond to after a few months on the site. A year later she was up to speed...and is a fine doctor. But take that anecdote and apply it across the medical establishment.
