High Testosterone, is this expected?

Good morning guys,

I switched from testosterone injections to the cream and I have been having issues trying to get the dosage dialed in. I have been using the cream exclusively for about 30-45days now. I applied 25mg of the cream in the scrotum area at around 7:30am and three hours later at 10:30am I went and got blood tested (the results are below). My testosterone and free testosterone are very high. Is this expected for only 25mg ? I normally apply the cream twice a day 25mg at 7:30am and 25mg at 7:30pm.

This is not too unusual. There's at least one study finding absorption via scrotal skin to be over 50%. Consider that healthy young men typically produce 6-7 mg of testosterone daily. You're potentially getting into the realm of four times that with your two doses. It's different at other application sites, where absorption is typically more like 10%.

The skin on the testicles is six times thinner than that anywhere on the body. Scrotal applications give you the higher levels than anywhere else on the body.

If you tested your DHT levels, they’ll be even higher. DHT levels can be in the several thousands.
