So my hemocrit is at 52.6 right now. I have been becoming increasingly short of breathe and in particular when I lay down my oxygen is dipping close to 90%. Anyone else seen these kind of things when your hemocrit is high ?

I just gave blood today, because I was experiencing these same symptoms. My hemoglobin was at 18.3 so I'm sure my hematocrit was high. Also had the headaches. My headache is gone already, just a few hours after the donation
