Hey guys, could you help me ? High free T and low semen volume

Hey guys,

I'm new on this forum. I hope someone could help me because I'm really lost. Let me explain the situation :

1- I started using pregnenolone and DHEA oral, topical and applied to scrotum (it boosts T production a lot). I never used TRT or any bodybuilding product or anything. Just These plain two precussors plus some fat soluble vitamins and aspirin and other stuff that might increase testosterone even more. I never did it with the intention of boosting T just for overall health.

2.- I started to get very low semen volume, like REALLY low than it used to be. It scared the hell out of me, so I ran some blood tests. Here are the latest ones :

17-Beta Estradiol (E2) : 39 pg/mL (Lab range : 10-50)
Estrone (E1) : 69,7 pg/mL (Lab range : 25,1-91,4)
Testosterone : 8,47 ng/mL (Lab range : 1,30-10,20)
Free Testosterone : 63,20 pg/mL (Lab range for men my age : 1-28,3)
LH : 4,6 U/L (Lab range for men my age : 1,5-34,6)
FSH : 3,5 U/L (Lab range : 1,4-18,1)

So you can see my free testosterone is THROUGH the roof. WTF???

3.- I went to an endocrinologist and he says these things :
A) He can't do anything to lower that Free Testosterone.
B) My "Axis" is not blocked or stopped because I still have LH and FSH on normal ranges
C) He doesn't know why my semen volume has diminished that much

So.... What should I do guys ? What are your thoughts about this ?

I'm really devastated because of this :-(

I'm age 36

Are you masturbating more or having more sex? Oral and transdermal DHEA and pregnenolone have no effect whatsoever on total T (I have not seen data on SHBG and free T, though)

Hi Nelson,

Thanks for your quick reply!

I think I have the same ejaculation frequency. I know my semen volume very well, it has been almost the same always. Except now.

Transdermal Preg and DHEA applied to the scrotum yes they do increase Testosterone. I have some papers that prove it. I can also verify this because I got high hematocrits and I started to get red face in flushes which I never did before (it's now gone). When I searched on the internet this is typical of people who use too much TRT.

I forgot to say : I have a previous test from a month or two ago with a super high free T value also. Two lab errors ?

Enter values for total testosterone, albumin and SHBG (obtained from blood testing) and the tool will calculate free and bioactive testosterone levels.
