Hi all,

Have been on trt for 9 months, tried different testosterone versions and schedules and feel the best on daily propionate totalling 90mg testosterone a week.

My latest results show high hemo, high hct, low mcv and low mch.

My doc suggested I am slightly aniemic and started iron supplemts.

Could you guys give me a review of what you think may be going on? Any suggestions?

My blood pressure is high and energy is low.

Thanks

YOu should donate 1 pint of whole blood to bring down the Hemoglobin and Hematocrit...extremely common side effects, the #1 side effect of TRT, actually. The MCV and MCH just indicates the body is making smaller red blood cells which is normal in TRT, too.
Def start with an iron supplement, take it on an empty stomach with 1-2g of Vitamin C.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions Vince will give them a go.

Is good to know that the low mcv and mch are normal

I donated last week, I started with nebido then sustanon once a week both of which gave me high hct, have been on daily propionate for about 4 weeks and hct has dropped slightly in this time before I donated blood.

Wonder how long a change in protocol to daily would take to bring down hct if at all or if you need to donate to bring it down and it would then be level. Not sure how hemocrit works
