So there is a shortage of Pregnyl, and it May have even been discontinued.
My doctor prescribed Novarel to replace it. Novarel only comes in 5000 unit vials. Pregnyl was 10,000. Each is diluted with 10cc of water.
So you need to use twice as much Novarel as Pregnyl.
Novarel is much more expensive, but I've noticed in the past it is more potent.
When you look at a vial of Novarel there is much more powder compared to a vial of Pregnyl.
So the whole thing is puzzling.
