Gel Dosage

Morning Exm.

Had my blood test levels checked after 3 months of running testo-gel and they came out at 5.4. So still well below par.
My doc here in the Uk is as clueless as usual. She refused to get my e levels checked as she said it was unheard of in males.
Eventually she agreed to double the dosage up to 2 sachets a day 2 x 5g.
She recommended I take the double dose in one go first thing in the morning.

After arguing with her about my thoughts on why the gel is not working and she agreed to a full panel of labs to be done after 3 months on the new dosage....including the e.
If she does not authorise this I will go private and get them done....so I can move forward on my quest to get things right...

We seem to be well behind other countries when it comes to T therapy here in the uk......my first doc flattley refused subscribing test even though my T count was very low.

My question is ...am I better splitting the dose to help maintain a steady level throughout the day ...ie apply 1 sachet on the morning and the second after showering before bed ?

Cheers guys

This reminds me of my own fruitless pursuit of relief through topical testosterone. For me, for many, possibly for you, gels simply aren't absorbed well and serum levels never reach the desired goal. I switched to injections and never looked back.

Moving on...

I will get there eventually....not sure if I will under this doc...I think I am her first T patient that's why is its proving to be an uphill struggle.
If this double dose don't improve things I will ask to be referred to an endo and see where that gets me...

Cheers CW
