Same here. Can't tolerate hcg at all. Big reason I went off trt. 35 years old I'm scared of the shut down long term. I get a good amount of testicle atrophy on t alone.

My anxiety on trt might also also have been the dose. At the end I was on 120mg per week. My numbers looked good t was around 777 day after shot but I actually felt better anxiety wise in the 500 range taking around 80-90. But energy and stuff was low. I was really happy with my decision to come off because it's just too much tinkering and worrying for me. But now that my pain is back I'm like shit I didn't realize how much trt was helping with that. But deep down inside I know I can't handle the anxiety and shit I get with trt so I have to find other means or just deal with the pain.
I play competitive hockey 2-3 times a week and my back just isn't working since I got off been really tough to play

Same here with the atrophy and the pain level.
Maybe something new will come down the pipe as things are always changing.
