Follow up test + iron ferritin

I just got my follow up blood work back from Defy. I added iron and ferritin to the test because of reading Nelsons suggestion to do so when donating blood.
I've been donating blood to keep my hematocrit from getting too high.

Here's what the results are:

Iron and TIBC
Iron Bind Cap ( TIBC ) 440 250-450
UIBC 392 111-343
Iron, Serum 48 38 - 169
Iron Saturation 11 15 - 55

Ferritin, Serum 33 30 - 400

The only other time I had iron tested was on a Life Extension male panel and it listed,

Iron, Serum 126 40 - 155

This was back in the year 2012 and pre TRT

I have my follow up consultation with Dr. Saya next month

I tried to get my iron, ferritin actually, when it was in the teens and IIRC: 62mg elemental iron + 1000mg Vit C daily, barely budged my Ferritin upward to like minimum lab numbers (IIRC) but what that supplementation DID do was skyrocket my finger stick HGB to the 19s and likewise boosted my HCT between 8 week donations, so, I cut that iron out.
I feel nothing now or with the added iron so I just dropped the issue and I couldn't have it making HGB/HCT, worse. With Dr Saya's advice I continued the 1000mg VitC daily to help with absorption but that's it.
The subject has been around here of late and I don't think anyone has come up with a balance of supplementing or not driving their bloods outta control.
