Flu like symptoms when using T

When some guys use testosterone and i am talking about T from a pharmacy, why do some guys get " flu like symotoms"? What is the actual cause?

Do you mean when first starting TRT, I did when first starting, my hormones were adjusting or at least that what I was told.

I had a low level cough for the first 3-4 months, it's gone now. Also I noticed my stool hardness fluctuates quite a bit as well as my appetite seems all over the place, I'll eat before work (evening) and after arriving at work my appetite just gets insane.

Your body is just getting used to more T. I felt weird the first month or so. Not flu-like, but just generally more wired that normal. It went away after I started feeling the extra T "working".

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
