First question 25 years old boy

Hello everyone I am a 25 year old boy. Sorry for english i live in Italy.

From 6 month my weight is blocked on 82 kg x 186cm. BF around 16.

In caloric deficit no weight loss.

Try more exam (cortisol, tyroid, ecc) and is ok.

Testosterone is 340.

Possible cause is low t for metabolism blocked? i have total sintom for low t.

Yes, not lose weight. 6 month same weight! no different!

No have mental focus and concentration. Mental fog.

I lose lean body mass and my body fat is dropped. Start in face / cheeks and after in total body.

Fatigue more.

Iron, the only way I can control my weight is going very low carb. It makes it easy for me to control my appetite, I could never do that when I was a carb eater. Plus I like how muscular I look now.

His weight is in range for his height Vince. Poor muscle tone and fatigue at his age are indicative of an underlying issue. Could be as simple as food allergy or poor absorption. I'm sure his doc will rule out any underlying glandular disorders and infections first. A 25 y.o. looking to thrive and build lean muscle shouldn't be discouraged from healthy carbs imo. Should be able to avoid TRT with a T of 340.

Do you have any sexual side effects - loss of libido, erectile issues?

So many people have autoimmune disease, I believe the only way to prevent them, is by giving up all grains. What's a healthy carb? To me that means non-starchy vegetable.

Inflammation as the underlying cause of disease is a theory with plenty of backing Vince. Familial inheritance determines to a large part how well we do on different diets. Diagnoses for this young man will likely included gluten sensitivity. Even if that comes back negative you are correct in suggesting that he try a gluten-free diet as part of his food sensitivity testing.

Good idea for all to give up white flour. Many however do well on a measured amount of non-gmo whole grain heirloom grain foods of which there are plenty of choices in Italy.

Paleo does get a bit overblown. Low glycemic has taken a hit in the past two years. Anti-nutrients abound in the plant kingdom. A varied common sense diet very low in processed foods makes the most sense. It's worth noting that a person can pull back from foods he has become sensitized too then later enjoy them in moderation with no ill effect.

Anyone with mind fog regardless of the cause should give acetyl l carnitine and the amino's a try while on a temporarily restricted diet. They should have fasting serum testing first to rule out iron,mineral vitamin deficiencies. No supplements should be taken one to two weeks prior to the draw. Ideally supplements are then added slowly one at a time as the diet is gradually expanded. Jason and others have posted excellent guides here.
