Finally got Complete Blood Work

Hey guys

I made a thread a while back, but I didn't have all the blood work. I was finally able to get it ordered from my doctor's office:

SHBG: 18 nmol/L Ref Range: 10-57

Testosterone: 347 ng/dl Ref Range: 241-827

Free T: 7.3 ng/dl Ref Range: 4.6-22.4

Bio Available T: 166.7 ng/dl Ref Range: 110.575

Estradiol: <5 Ref Range: <5 - 61 pg/ml

I also have the CBC results (which are all within normal range... I can post them if you think it's necessary.)

Just some quick background info: I'm 30 (will be 31 this Fall), 6'1", 170lbs. Pretty much tired all the time. Low libido, hard to put on muscle...

I'm looking to start a family with my wife so I am not considering TRT right now, but I certainly am when we are done with kids (already got the boys checked...good to go).

I am looking to do a clomid restart at this point, but I've heard so many different opinions on dosage.

Does anyone have any input on these blood results? And does anyone know of a good low dose clomid protocol?

Thanks guys.

People seem to do be on 12.5mg Clomid I can't remember if that's daily or EOD though, helps with the Estrogen which Clomid is notorious for. Also you're receiving the wrong test for Estrogen, that's a female test, the one for males is the (Ultra) Sensitive LC/MS/MS...it's the only acceptable test.

Ok that's what I've been seeing too in regards to clomid.

I had a feeling they wouldn't order the right estrogen test....

I kind of want to start taking clomid now though. Really want to see if it will help. I'm tired of being tired and waiting for the doctor to get their stuff in order. Definitely going with defy when it comes to trt...lol

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
