Fertility on HRT

I have been on HRT (150mg/wk of test cyp, .5 arimidex eod) for about 5 years. For the first couple years I also took 250iu of hcg eod, but stopped taking it because it was pricey and seemed like the dose was too low. This was all while living in the US.
I am now in Canada and married. My wife wants children. I took a semen analysis and it was almost non-existent. The doc here gave me hcg at 1000iu eod, based upon the info I gave him from the US. Seems like Canada isn’t really into hrt protocols. Anyways, my question is:
Will the 1000iu of hcg increase the sperm count and ability to get my wife pregnant while still on the test cyp and arimidex, or will I have to stop using the test and only use hcg...or add someonething in addition to the hcg?

So after 6 months of adding FSH to my TRT protocol I got a sperm analysis done.
A quick background. My fertility was normal before TRT and went to zero when I started TRT without HCG. Adding HCG 500 IU 2x a week my sperm analysis results were:

sperm count 2.1mm (normal >=20mm)
total sperm 7.2mm (normal >=40mm)

Subfertile with not great chances of getting my wife pregnant.

I tried to increase HCG to 500IU 3x a week but results were basically the same and it didnt make me feel good. So I asked Dr Saya if I could try FSH and he was ok with that. I have been taking 50IU 2x a week (less than the dosage prescribed... long story short my wife got pregnant and miscarried and we decided to hold off on another baby so i decided to use a much lower dosage just to save money and see if it would work).
So after 6 months on TRT with testosterone + HCG (500IU 2x a week) + FSH (50IU 2x a week) my new sperm analysis results are:

sperm count 15mm (normal >=20mm)
total sperm 52.5mm (normal >=40mm)

I am fertilile again! Thanks Dr Saya! The small FSH dosage worked!
So I am planning to keep using FSH in my protocol. At this dosage it is not that expensive.

Thanks for the reply! So I am not too familiar with FSH and it’s applicabel dosing. Is this an expensive addition? Also, what dosing is average for guys?? I have a doctors appointment in June and will ask about it for sure.

FSH is extremely expensive, in the States and thus a tiny tiny few might think about using it.
There's no harm in 1000iu EOD on HCG to see what you can restart, only time will tell. I like to remind people that being shutdown, as it were, is akin to induced organ failure and fertility may not be recoverable. Add it to your TRT regimen, and pray.

I wonder if insurance will cover it, I’ll have to ask in June when I go. I fear that I shut down completely. Years ago, I used steroids for bodybuilding as well, and have been hrt after that. FSH may be my last hope. My insurance pays all but $20 for hcg, so perhaps they will assist with FSH too.
It doesn’t seem like guys are recovering fertility with hcg alone while on TRT without adding FSH to the mix.
My analysis prior to hcg was .5>20
