felt worse on testosterone

Is it possible to feel worse on testosterone? I started taking a testosterone cream, at a fairly low dose, but seemed to notice an increase in anxiety and brain fog. I had taken testosterone years ago and do not recall this happening. Has anyone ever had adverse effects when starting testosterone cream?

It’s certainly possible and trt doesn’t work for everyone. I’ve struggled for a lot of the 10 years I’ve been on trt. I’ve found that 60mg once weekly of cypionate is the best balance. A lot of guys including myself struggle with libido especially after several years of being shut down. I’ve never been able to get even mediocre libido on trt but feel pretty good otherwise.

Seems to happen to some people. My opinion is that, for anxiety, exercise helps. On trt, exercise can be increased. If your test levels are 1000 and you’re sitting at a desk all week then that could make anxiety worse.
