Those that are not familiar with my story, quick brief. I was on HCG mono for low T (read my other post regarding this). Initially I felt some relief but the effects soon faded. It raised my T slightly but also raised my E2, not massively high (42 pg/ml) but enough for me to feel the effects fade. I thought it may be this reading that was causing my symptoms to re appear but being in the UK without access to the sensitive E2 test I left an AI well alone. HCG mono did nothing in regards to my SHBG with remained raised at 48 nmol/l. I am 26!

After all this I decided to just bite the bullet and try TRT combining HCG. Initially I felt relief of a lot of symptoms that HCG just simply did not touch! I felt like I had some pump in my muscles! I could feel muscle and strength returning. This has been absent for years! I felt brighter, happier, mentally sharp! I began to play guitar again and I could feel like my brain was running at the correct speed for once. No stumbling for words etc.

I also woke up with some pretty decent morning wood for the first few days. Ones that lasted and stayed with me as I got up and went to pee. These have been gone for a long time! I felt like this must be it. I had more feeling down there, I felt like I had a ****!! and it was more sensitive. No mind blowing erections or spontaneous ones for that matter but there was more blood flow and for that I was grateful! It reacted more to touch and stimuli too. I felt more masculine. Night time erections were more apparent but not rock hard. My sleep has been much better and for the first time in a long time, I found myself naturally falling asleep in front of the tv. The cant keep my eyes open sort of tired which was nice!

Anyway, that was the first week. I began at 125mg Test Enanthate (MON) and HCG 250iu (Tues/Fri). I have continued this protocol for 4 weeks and have just had bloods back.

After a week things went down hill. I started to feel tired and I mean really tired. Just lethargic and rubbish. Mornings became what they had been, tired and weak with no Wood. I had less sensitivity down there and my nuts felt softer than usual. I also began having hot flushes and feeling warm all the time.. then came the nipple itching and burning. My daughter was climbing over me and the pain and soreness was horrible. It has been this way for the last few weeks. I have also become easily frustrated, irritated and angry. Also feel emotional more than normal. Nipples are puffy and muscles feel flat. I also dont urinate that often anymore, before TRT when I had low e2 I would pee all the time. I have also had a flair up of my restless legs which do not seem to leave me alone. It is so uncomfortable, can high E2 cause this? Dopamine issue?

Here are my recent blood results, (attached as images). I have had a nightmare with my GP getting blood work done. He basically thinks the specialist I am seeing is a loon and will not co operate. Im in the UK! That is the NHS for you. Because I was originally on HCG mono I noticed my gp requested a HCG blood test. This is how little he knows!

Also some that did not fit on images.

Free T3: 5.4 pmol/l (3.5-6.5)

GP concerned I was on HCG so requested a serum test. LOL.

Total HCG: 7 iu/L (<5.0)

Would love to hear your advice. I think I need to lower my dose to maybe 80 mgs a week?

Thanks again.

I will add I had the bloods done 9 am on a Thursday so not at my peak!

I don't see your testosterone panel. I think 80mg a week of T would be too low. I personally think 70mg of T twice a week, along with 500iu of HCG twice a week would be a good starting dose. I would go slow and tweak your protocol, as you know TRT is a lifetime commitment. If you can, try to stay away form an AI.

Thanks for the reply Vince.

My testosterone came back elevated at 41 nmol/l. It is there on one of the pictures... I think! That level converts to 1154 ng/dl. I am currently on 125mg Test E once a week with 500 ius a week of HCG (split into 250ius on different days). I think I am too high at the moment. Do you think I should try 100 mgs of Test E a week instead?

I want to lower my E2 and hopefully without using an AI.

I will add my Dr forgot to add SHBG to my blood list so I am getting it done now. Should know by Tuesday and will paint a better picture of free T levels.

I would like to try this and have tried to do this but unsuccessfully. I am in the UK and for some odd reason the only way Testosterone comes is in ampoules. (little glass things you snap the lid off). They come as 250 mgs per 1 ml. I tried to split this into four syringes and I just found it so difficult get equal levels. Because of the thickness of the Test it is really difficult to draw it without sucking in too much air seen as it is not in a sealed vial. Maybe it is just me needing to practice more. I also wasn't happy with the idea of leaving those syringes preloaded for that long. I can split the ampoule into two syringes (125 mg each) easily.

What I was thinking of doing was buying some sterile vials and breaking a couple of ampoules and injecting them into that. That way I can draw it and dose it more easily. I wanted to ask you all if this was okay? Will the Testosterone keep this way?

It sure must be tough, having to go through all the trouble. It sounds like it would work, as long as everything is kept clean. Hopefully others have tried and will chime in.

UPDATE:

I had my SHBG back.

52 nmol/l 12-40

Before I got sick my SHBG was around 30 nmol/l.

I do not drink or anything so my liver should be healthy. I thought TRT would lower my SHBG. This explains my high Total T number! Is this high Estradiol that is causing this? The thing is my SHBG remained high even when I had low undetectable E2 (before TRT).

Can anyone give some advice with me on this? I currently have a lot of high E2 symptoms. Not just imagining them and I am worried about the puffy nipples turning into gyno as I suffered this during puberty.

According to your labs your estradiol is high, nipple sensitivity can also be caused by testosterone. It seems like the best way to lower E2, is by more frequent injections. More frequent injections may not be possible for you though.
