Part I: symptoms
Conclusions
This large systematic review and meta-analysis of RCTs and non-RCTs focusing on CVD symptoms demonstrates that daily treatment with MPFF 1000 mg leads to significant symptoms improvement in patients with CVD at all stages of the disease. In addition, high levels of satisfaction (at least 90%) with MPFF treatment were reported by patients. These findings provide robust evidence of significant symptomatic benefit with MPFF in a wide range of patient profiles across all classes of CVD.
Part II: signs
Conclusions
In this meta-analysis, treatment with MPFF in association with standard of care therapy was found to provide significant improvements in leg edema, skin changes and the healing of venous ulcers. These findings ensure a broad overview of the effectiveness of MPFF treatment on clinical signs of CVD across a range of study designs, including RCTs and real-world studies in various patient profiles.
