It's common to see hair thinning which could be perceived as hair loss with tamoxifen.

Great drug Nolvadex/Tamoxifen for gyno since it blocks E2 and decreases IGF-1. It will prevent gains at the gym, though.

it could do that in theory sicne its anti estrogen.. I get hair loss and dry hair from anything that lowers estrogen too much

because i have read some studies ; and tamoxifen " block " E at the receptor but increase serum E in the blood .
do you thnik arimidex would be much " hair friendly" than tamoxifen ?

bump to know exactly if low dose tamoxifen / raloifen could cause hair thinning ?
i know that women experienced it while on tamox

I take 10mg tamoxifen as a preventive measure for gyno. I have noticed hair loss and hair thinning.
Is it due to tamoxifen or trt.....?

Well I got hairloss from arimidex. Not sure about tamoxifen although I used it too.

I've off and on tamoxifen with the most recent bout being 10 mg 2x weekly and am experiencing the symptoms listed above, depression, low libido etc. even though at a lower dose. It does work great for gyno but I'd almost choose that over these side effect. Any suggestions?
