Does everyone suffer when lowering dose?

My recent bloods on 200mg/week of T cyp came back as:

TT: >1500
FT: >50
E2: 61

Doctor freaked out and told me to lower my dose. I took 3 days off, then went back to 150mg/week, which has worked well for me in the past from what I remember. But I'm in my own personal hell still. No motivation, weak, stupid, low career drive.

I also recently stopped taking Lunesta for sleep - which I now realize I was taking nightly because of how I felt after lowering my T dose.

Question is, does everyone suffer when lowering their dose? I did the same drop last year and I remember feeling better.

Anytime I change anything everything is out the window for 6 to 8 weeks. Every time.

Appreciate it, the toughest part is that I just waited out my doctor's suggested dose increase the last 3 months only for them to get mad and tell me to lower it now.

I do feel a better better today so there's hope.

When I make dose changes I do it in small increments, no more than 5-10 mg every 2-3 weeks. It will obviously take longer to reach a point where you can get accurate lab work, but it has helped me avoid the issues described above. For me large dose changes wreck my sleep.

I considered this, but thought I'd get it over with more quickly then. Also when I dropped from 200 to 150 last year, I remember it being pretty smooth.
