I am getting new bloodwork done to assess my sexual driveand function. Does DHT impact sexualperformance? I want to know if that is atest worth ordering for this issue or not. Thank you!
DHT impacts libido, erectile function, cognitive performance, and cardiac health. It's a critical hormone for male health and well worth your investing in a test. Do you know where your prolactin levels sit?I am getting new bloodwork done to assess my sexual driveand function. Does DHT impact sexualperformance? I do have a very healthy libido and in 3 plus years of TRT I've only had my DHT checked once. It was 57 ng/dL range 30 - 85, because of my very healthy libido I do not believe I need too high of DHT levels.
You should run it if funds allow but it's not something I would put in routine testing from one-time to the next but yes that should be looked at sometime in your therapy.
