Defy question - clomid cost

Hello everyone,

Recently had my consult with Defy and was suggested because of my age (31) and my desire to have kids in the next few years that clomid was the right choice...and I agree. I want to see how I react to it.

However, when I checked out with them, the cost of 30 days worth of clomid came out to almost $130...

Is this normal? Maybe I am wrong, but I assumed the cost for clomid would be much cheaper...

It must depend on the dosage. I was on very low dose clomiphene citrate (25 mg M, W, F for 6 pills a month) and it cost about $22.00 a month.

iirc the cost of the pills for me was about $1.40 each through Defy. Did you get next day shipping or something?

Highly unlikely...that would be a very bad idea.

Defy does prescribe compounded Clomid with and AI. I started at 12.5mg Clomid and next month went to 25mg compounded with 0.15 Arimidex.

Same with me, just filled prescription yesterday at Costco for $23. I also take 12.5 mg/day.

Dang that is steep, that is convenient to have the AI compounded into it but man $130 a month?

Clomid isn't my area of knowledge but for eveything we talk about around here auto inclusion of an AI is contraindicated for men, so that was the basis of my comment. Still pretty surprised that Defy is doing that.
