Constant tendonitis and how to manage

42 year old male and have been on TRT for 7 years. Currently on 180 mg Test cyp and 90mg of deca a week. I am a lean 214. In an ideal world i would lift weights 3 times a week and do cardio 3x a week as well. However i am frequently limited by injuries. I have had 5 tendon/muscle related surgical repairs.

I have constant tendon issues (tendinitis) and taking time off from the gym, or reducing intensity or volume doesn’t seem to address it. I have changed the way i work out over time as i have some miles under my belt.

Is there anything my doctor can prescribe to curb this, or is this just what is expected as an active middle aged dude.

thanks.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
