On TRT since July 2018. Continue to work on right protocol for me.

Changed my protocol on May 27, 2020 from Compounded cream to Test Cyp injections. Twice per week, .35ml sub-Q. No AI or HCG. Do take DIM can CDC daily.

Feeling much better on shots, was having heart palpitations on creams and gels. I think it was related to high DHT. Hovered in the 170-176 range.

Would love thoughts and reactions, suggestions. This forum has been a tremendous source of knowledge for me.

New labs after 8 weeks:

So ur feeling overall good on this protocol. How’s mood, energy, sleep, libido, erections?

These labs were taken at ur trough right before ur twice per week injection?

To me it seems like u may need to increase ur dose. Free T seems a little low, DHT seems low, HCT seems a little low. But if ur feeling good in all areas, I would say don’t change a thing.

Prolactin is obv high. That’s not messing with sexual function at all? Has it always run high?

Ur diet needs a lot of work. Ur HDL is low, and LDL is WAY too low. Triglycerides also need to come down quite a bit. Are u taking a statin?

Do u eat a lot of protein? Unless ur eating a lot of protein, which is causing gluconeogenesis, ur fasting glucose is a little high. If it’s from over consumption of protein, don’t worry about it

Yes labs right before trough on shot day before shot in AM.

I lost 30 lbs since May 24th. 30 miles per day cycling on trial.HDL didn’t move. Tryglerceides dropped 74 points.A1c dropped from 5.4 to 4.9.
Low carb, high protein diet. Chicken, ground turkey, salmon, tuna, egg whites, Greek yogurt. Quest bars So high protein.

libido fine- a little lower than with cream but hair was thinning and off the charts with cream. Including heart palps, high heart rate. use vardenafil to help erections. Prolactin up and down 11-16 last few bloods. Had pituitary MRI and was clear about a year ago.
Energy and mood good - Sleep Apnea but had that before changes. Excercise helped improve sleep a lot and resting heart rate.

Glucose ranges 89-101.

Any suggestions on HDL? Yes on a statin atorvastatin 20mg per day. BP meds too. Lots of Supplements

First off, drop the statin like a bad habit! I could write a book on how badly ur putting ur health at risk being on it and having those cholesterol numbers, but I’ll spare u the lecture. If ur really interested in learning about the importance of cholesterol, checkout dr Paul Saladino. He’s on YouTube and has a podcast. He understands how cholesterol actually interacts in the body better than anyone I’ve ever listened to. The guys a computer in human form. HDL and LDL go up together btw. So to get HDL up, ur LDL is going to have to go up as well, which is a very good thing, not bad, as long as ur not very insulin resistant that is. If ur insulin resistant, there’s a higher chance of LDL oxidizing, which is definitely not good, and is why people fear LDL. But as long as ur insulin sensitive, LDL is extremely important and healthy and shouldn’t oxidize and therefore will only have benefits. LDL is impotent for more things than people even realize. Most people don’t know that LDL is very important for immune function, for example. So get off that statin like yesterday. No need to taper off of it or anything. Just flush it down the toilet. U also need to up ur healthy fats, imo. Eat egg yolks, use grassfed butter or ghee to cook with and eat moderate to high fat content red meat. If ur doing low carb, u need to increase ur fat content. U can’t do low carb, low fat, and high protein. If ur doing low carb and high protein, u either need a moderate or high amount of healthy fats per day.

Surprised u have sleep apnea, ur HCT is on the low side. If I were u, I would actually want my HCT quite a bit higher. So maybe ur sleep apnea has improved pretty drastically if ur HCT is only 44.

Lowering BP naturally is pretty easy. One of the main things that I think helps keep mine so low is I drink 2 mineral waters in glass bottles each day. Basically 2 San pellegrino’s, just my local grocery store’s brand. When I open one, I put 1/2 tsp of magnesium chloride, which is around 150mg of magnesium I think, and 1/4 tsp of Celtic salt. In the mornings I also put decent amount of salt in my mouth, let it dissolve, and wash it down with basically a whole bottle of mineral water, along with 1/2 tsp of magnesium in the water before I chug it down. There’s quite a few ways to improve BP, but I believe this magnesium and salt and mineral water combo is contributing quite a bit to keeping my BP great. I also salt the sh*t out of my food with the Celtic salt. Here’s a video that changed my life and explains the importance of salt and fluid balance in the cells. I’ll also post a pic of my BP from a few hours ago. I check it every day.

Awesome job on the weight loss and improving ur health markers btw. Just be aware that long distance running is one of the worst things someone can do for their health. It’s extremely stressful to the body. Some long distance runners have the same heart attack risk as a couch potato. Long distance cycling might be a little better, but any exercise done for long periods of time like that isn’t good for the body. It’s very stressful for the body, and has a lot of negative consequences. Just something to keep in mind. Not saying to not cycle anymore. Riding my bike is my favorite form of cardio. Basically the only form I do actually. Just be aware of the dangers of long distance endurance exercising, and make ur own informed choice
