Will the carnivore diet raise your hematocrit and hemoglobin if you’re on trt?

Has anyone had success with the carnivore diet?

Curious as to why you might think H and H would go up based on carnivore diet?

I suppose if you were iron deficient.

Thousands on carnivore report:

  • No bloating
  • No IBS
  • Better gut health
A byproduct of fiber is butyrate, which is essential for the suppression of colorectal cancer. On carnivore diet you can get beta hydroxybutyrate from ketones, ketone bodies in the colon, small and large intestine and through colonic bacteria can use other substances, like short chain fatty acids butyrate to produce beta hydroxybutyrate.

So for those on Carnivore beta hydroxybutyrate is produced locally in the cells of the colon, small and large intestine, but not in the way the liver produces it.

All of this makes fiber non-essential.
