Buying new bed - anyone have adjustable base?

My sleep has been horrible lately and I don’t attribute it to my TRT or sleep apnea, but to my wretched bed! It’s sinking in too much and all my pressure points hurt. I’ve done a lot of research and looks like the Helix Plus mattress is going to be good for me since it’s built for heavier people over 200lbs. I’m thinking about getting the adjustable base, you know the people you see in Tv moving their bed up like a hospital bed or elevating their feet, lol. I think it looks great!

just wondering if anyone can speak from personal experience. Is an adjustable base worth the money?

do you sleep with your head or feet elevated?
Does it help sleep apnea or snoring?

I do. I like it alot. It gives you the ability to make minor adjustments and I find that I may raise my head or feet by an inch or two and that gives me the relief that I need. Sometimes I need less and sometimes more. Now I feel like the mattress is almost inconsequential. I have slept horribly on expensive mattresses and wonderfully on cheap ones. Its so unpredictable and the base gives me the ability to fine tune almost any mattress.
