Bloodwork 4 months of TRT. Low SHGB, Total T 1400 - Any Issues?

Hi Excel,

I've got my latest bloodwork back after beginning TRT 4 months ago.

My Pre TRT bloodwork is here: http://imgur.com/a/cTS4J

After Week 10 of TRT: http://imgur.com/a/F1O4k

Current bloodwork (4 Months): http://imgur.com/a/pK9KS

My current protocol is:

Test E / 175mg week. Split into 2 injections Tues and Friday.
Aromasin 18.75mg / week (6.25mg on M/W/F)

Prior to that it was 150mg/week Split into 2 injections Tues and Friday + 12.5mg Aromasin / week.

------

Is there anything wrong with having T levels this high? I get very few side effects except mild back acne, and enjoy the increased physical strength and body recomp effects from the gym.

Libido, sex drive, ED are all improved since beginning TRT. Overall mood has increased, partly from being much more physically active and more motivated in the gym.

Erection strength was slightly better at a lower T dose, but it's still much better than prior TRT.

Any thoughts / concerns I should be aware of / other bloodwork I should be getting?

Thank you.

I think most feel better with lower levels then what you have. You could try lowering it from 1400 to maybe around a 1000.

When were these tests taken relative to injection?

Why oh why are you taking aromasin?

You did not have high E2 prior, did not have the sensitive test, and probably didn't have symptoms.

Are you on UGL? Certainly sounds UGL.

Aromasin was suggested for two main reasons.
1. When I changed to this clinic my E2 levels were tested at 70pg/ml (non sensitive test, Im not in the USA)
2. I've had mild gynecomastia since puberty and the Dr. was a bit concerned about prescribing TRT without an AI if I was prone to gynecomastia.

I had initially started TRT through my regular GP who had me on a bad protocol of 250mg E14Days, then changed to 125mg E7Days. I realised this wasn't optimal and sought out a better Dr. The 70.2 pg/ml test was about 4 days after my last 125mg injection on the old protocol.

No

When were these tests taken relative to injection?
3 days after last injection, day before trough.

Your hematocrit and hemoglobin are persistently low; has that been addressed?

I was doing a general health checkup when this was initially picked up (along with low T) and did a stool test to rule out blood loss. Also did a food allergy test, but It doesn't seem to be related to diet or any vitamin deficiency.

I haven't found the cause, although I have my suspicion it's related to gut health issues / stress.

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
