Hi everyone,

In the past, I used to supplement with zinc nitrate.
However, I recently heard that zinc picolinate may be better while being on TRT.
Would you guys recommend zinc picolinate over zinc nitrate to lower estrogen levels?
My estrogen is not too high at the moment, but my dr recently upped my dose so I’m hoping that supplementing with zinc would be beneficial in keeping my estrogen levels in check (I heard to not worry about the estrogen levels), but I would still like to be within a good range of possible.
Thanks!

Zinc (as TRAACS® Zinc Bisglycinate Chelate)

Hi Madman, Are you recommending the Thorne Bisglycinate or the L-Methionine Sulfate

Zinc has zero effect on estrogen. I take 50 mg or more daily. For years. I run estrogen in the 70s. I also take 10 mg Cialis a day which is also rumoured to lower estrogen. In practice neither has any effect on estrogen.

Old thread, old question: does zinc make a difference?

Does anyone here have any lab data to support or refute zinc's affect on estrogen?

Does anyone here have any anecdotal experience with zinc's affect on estrogen?

I believe that my ideal TRT regimen needs to include keeping estradiol in an ideal range. I have experience both too high and too low, neither of which are pleasant. Most recently, I have used 0.125mg of anastrozole twice a week, following injections, and felt pretty horrible after a few doses.

It would be nice to blunt aromatization with something "natural" like zinc, cause it seems that my anastrozole experiment has been a bit too much.

My alternative is to try the 0.125mg once a week or twice a month.

I take zinc only for the health benefits, not to lower estrogen.
