Arimidex dosing

After four months of TRT, my estradiol levels have come back at 81 pg/ml..... doctor has prescribed arimidex 1mg a day.... this seems excessive after reading most posts here.

I inject 44mg test cyp EOD, latest labwork shows:

TT 552.68 (205-781 ng/dl)
FT 3.24 % (H)
E2 81 (20-47 pg/ml)
SHGB 12.1 (L)

My symptons are nipple sensitivity, sleepiness and water retention

Would I be better off trying .25mg EOD ? Ive also read in Nelson's sticky that one can start at 1mg a day until nipple sensitivity is gone, then reduce dose

As stated above, start with no more than 0.25mg twice a week, wait 4 weeks and test with the correct E2 test. Arimidex is very powerful and 1mg a day is a dose used for women battling breast cancer - not guys on TRT.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
