Anyone on HGH therapy?

I was just wondering if anyone is on this therapy. I was reading from some sites that the cost of HGH is like 800 to 1000 bucks a month. That seems quite expensive and I believe insurance doesn't pay for that from what I understand.

I figured you would have to be rolling in the dough to afford that type of therapy. It sounds appealing, but not for 1000/month.

It is supposed to stimulate pituitary to secrete hgh.

My igf-1 numbers rose by about 80 units...and its cheaper.

You are right, rHGH is indeed very expensive. Years ago we could obtain compounded rHGH for around $3 per iu which is very cheap. HGH became the focus of attention during the big MLB baseball shake down, resulting in the increase in regs surrounding the prescribing of HGH. Sources for compounded HGH stopped supplying US pharmacies leaving us only with very overpriced manufactured rHGH. In addition, doctors are now prohibited from prescribing it for "anti-aging" purposes. Patients must first be diagnosed with deficient GH using a stimulation test approved by the endocrinology society. Many guys are now purchasing HGH on the black market from overseas but I can promise you 99% is NOT HGH. We have tested numerous patients who have taken the most common black market brands and not one person had a sufficient level of IGF-1 or serum GH while taking high doses of this garbage (blue tops, yellow tops, green tops, KIgtropin, insert any Chinese generic brand = garbage)

You do not need to take rHGH if your pituitary is functioning properly, peptides like Sermorelin can bring GH levels to optimal range by stimulating endogenous production. You should pay between $200-$400 per month for 500mcg-1000mcg of Sermorelin. The good thing is, many patients do not have to take it every day forever like HGH. Once levels are elevated they can be maintained with less frequent injections (2-3 per week)

Most patients who take it correctly respond very well. Start with 500mcg-1000mcg before bed time.
What is Sermorelin Acetate?
Sermorelin(GHRH) is a bio-identical hormone that has recently been genetically engineered to stimulate the secretion of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) from the hypothalamus, a gland adjacent to the pituitary gland. GHRH is a peptide that contains the first 29 amino acids of our own GH. These 29 amino acids are the active amino acids of GHRH. It is GHRH that stimulates the pituitary glands to release GH. How long does it take to work?
Just like most HGH medications, Sermorelin usually has a “loading” period of 3-6 months before full effects are noticed. Its actions are dependent on a chain reaction of biological processes which result in elevated and sustained HGH and growth factors. Do I need to take Sermorelin forever to keep seeing results?
Actually, no. Sermorelin has an ongoing effect in which optimal HGH levels can be sustained long after the last injection. Just like synthetic HGH, Sermorelin initially must be injected every day. Unlike synthetic HGH, once optimal levels are sustained with Sermorelin injection frequencies can be decreased or stopped altogether.
