Anyone inject Phenylephrine HCL for priapism?

Hi All - Has anyone injected Phenylephrine as referenced in Nelson's post ? I have some arriving on Friday from Empower and want to know dosage and needle size that anyone would recommend. I am hoping to not need it but if I do I am hoping that I can use my same 30 gauge insulin pins that I use for injecting the Trimix? PLease let me know what you do. Thanks

Sorry, I should've clarified that the main thing I am interested in is what size needles to use. I have found medical information that says Des will use an 18-20 guage needle but I was sure hoping I could use a smaller needle if possible.

Yes... I actually just did this myself. Works perfectly. I have been using caverject(alprostadil) for years. I have been to the ER twice and aspirated myself a couples times. However, a month ago or so I was in the ER again. I had been in pain for 6 hours. The ER doc injected me with 500mcg(0.5mg) phenylephrine and with in seconds I started feeling better and detumesced.
Well it happened again last night. I didn’t want to go to the ER again and started searching for phenylephrine HCL. I found that phenylephrine decongestant nasal spray was phenylephrine HCL 1.0% as an active ingredient. It did not list any inactive ingredients.
Phenylephrine HCL 1.0% is actually 1mg per mL. It came in a 30mL bottle for $4.99
I took 9mL of bateriotatic saline and added 1.0mL of the phenylephrine nasal spray giving me a concentration of 1MG(1000mcg)/mL.
I used a 31 gauge 1/2in needle and filled with 0.5mL(500mcg) I then injected exactly how I inject the caverject. Again within seconds started to detumesce. It’s been an hour now and I’m perfectly fine and penis did not rebound. It was so easy. I am so happy!!!

Hey fifyshadeslighter! Awesome that you found that the nasal spray works. Do you think you can elaborate more on which products you use exactly? Like with the nasal spray and bateriostatic saline. Thanks man

Just thinking out loud here....... but I am kinda thinking you might be using too much Trimix and might want to consider reducing the dose a little bit to stay away from having to go to the ER. One trip to the ER I can get, but numerous trips to the ER? Isn't that painful? Well we're all different That's what makes the world go around (I guess).

I think every person who is new to Trimix or who has had one episode of priapism should have their doctor prescribe this along with Trimix. I have been telling Empower to sell the two together per request.

Out of curiosity how long would an erection need to last to start causing damage ? I assume it is longer than four hours. Had an erection last night that got to four hours before it started to subside over the course of the next 1-2 hours with the help of Sudafed and ice
