Anyone able to do the math? amount of RBC lost per 500ml blood donation

Red Blood Cell reference range: 4.20-5.40 10*12/L

Say your RBC is at 5.0, what would it end up as after a regular 500ml blood donation? Hemoglobin would go down 10 points g/L, hematocrit down by 3%, but wondering about RBC specifically.
 
I don't know if this is the correct approach, but viewing it strictly as a math problem, adult blood volume is said to be about 4.5-5.7 liters. A 500 mL donation is taking about 10% away. If it's quickly replaced by fluid without the cells then RBC has also been reduced by 10%. Therefore 5.0 drops to 4.5 * 10^12/L.
