Androgen Insensitivity & Testing

My doctor mentioned androgen receptor tests. He said it's not androgen specific. They send your blood to China and do a whole genome test.

In trying to rule out Partial Androgen Insensitivity, I have thought about doing this test.

The thing is my facial hair has always been way behind people of my age, but it was always this way even when I had a high libido.

Even during my time with zero libido, I still started growing hair on my thighs, and chest hair, even though chest hair has taken years to fill in.

So I'm capable of growing chest hair. This tells me I respond to androgens. Would this Androgen test tell me what I already know, or could it tell me I'm partially insensitive, possible indicating TRT treatment?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
