anastrozole dosage frequency

Im on TRT. My Estrogen started getting up there around 60. They put me on Anastrozole. The pills come in 1 mg size from Kroger. Im supposed to take 1/4th tablet twice a week. These suckers are hard to cut. Is it OK to take 1/2 pill once a week?

I wouldn't. The half-life is about two days, so a week between doses is asking for a lot of variation. Are you using a commercial pill cutter? These usually work quite well. An alternative is to dissolve each tablet in 10 mL of vodka and dose based on volume.

Good starting dose is .125 mg twice a week. I would check with your doctor to see if he can get you that dose.
Any higher, I would be afraid that you would tank your estrogen levels.

This one is the best. Pretty expensive, but great to use and really holding up well. It also does a good job of quartering, because you can easily line up the halves on their cut ends.
